How we approach it
Custom-built tile showers — walk-in, curbless and steam — waterproofed properly and tiled to your design.
A prefabricated shower comes in a handful of sizes and one look. A custom shower is built in place, so it fits the alcove or corner you actually have, carries the tile and the layout you chose, and makes room for the niches, benches and shelving that decide how usable the shower is day to day. Curbless and zero-entry designs are only possible this way.
What makes it last sits underneath the tile. We form the pan to the shape of the opening and slope it properly to the drain, then seal the pan, the walls and the curb with a waterproofing system — Schluter-Kerdi, RedGard or similar — before a single tile goes on. Tile and grout are not waterproof on their own, and a shower that skipped this step finds its way into the framing sooner or later.
Steam showers ask more again: a fully sealed enclosure, the correct vapor barrier and a ceiling sloped so condensation runs off rather than dripping on you. It is detail work either way, which is why we treat the waterproofing as the job and the tile as the finish. We build custom showers for homes in Tifton and across Tift County and the surrounding South Georgia towns we serve.

Custom Showers — the things people ask
Can you build a curbless or zero-entry shower?
Often, yes — it depends on the floor structure. A curbless shower needs the pan recessed into or built up around the framing so the finished floor can run level into the shower. We will look at your subfloor and tell you honestly whether it can be done in your bathroom and what it would take.
What waterproofing do you use in a shower?
A dedicated waterproofing system over the pan, the walls and the curb — a sheet or liquid-applied membrane such as Schluter-Kerdi or RedGard, chosen to suit the build. Tile and grout are not waterproof on their own; the membrane behind them is what actually keeps water out of the framing.
