Our story
Founded in 2021. Rooted in Tifton.
Baltazar Floorcovering is a family-owned flooring company based in Tifton, Georgia. We started in 2021 with a simple idea: flooring done properly, by people who do only flooring, for the neighborhoods we actually live in.
Floors are unusual among home improvements. You walk on them every day, barefoot and half-asleep, and you notice every ridge, every hollow spot, every seam that opened up over a summer. That is why so much of our work happens before the visible part starts — checking the subfloor for flatness and moisture, planning the layout, deciding which material is genuinely right for the room instead of which one is easiest to sell.
We install hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, laminate, tile and carpet, and we do the work that goes with them: refinishing tired hardwood, repairing damaged sections, pulling out old floors and getting the subfloor ready for whatever comes next. Homeowners, landlords turning over a rental, and small commercial spaces across South Georgia all get the same standard.
We are a young company and we are honest about that. What we can point to is a state business record anyone can look up, a written price before any work starts, and a willingness to tell you the unprofitable truth about your floor when that is what the floor calls for.
