How we approach it
Carpet for bedrooms, stairs and living areas — properly stretched and finished.
There are rooms where hard flooring is simply the wrong answer. Bedrooms, stairs, upstairs hallways and family rooms are quieter, warmer and safer underfoot with carpet, and a good carpet over a good pad is a genuinely comfortable floor.
Two things decide how long it lasts: the pad underneath and how hard it was stretched. A thin pad wears the carpet backing out from below, and carpet that was laid in rather than power stretched will ripple within a couple of years. We use a pad matched to the carpet and the traffic, and we stretch properly.
Seams get planned before anything is cut — placed away from doorways and out of the main sight line and traffic path — and stairs are wrapped or capped cleanly with the edges finished so they hold up to daily use.

Can you carpet stairs only?
Yes. Carpeting stairs alone is a common request, often paired with hard flooring everywhere else. Stairs take longer per square foot than a flat room because each tread and riser is finished individually.
What happens to my old carpet?
We pull it up, roll it, and haul it away with the old pad and tack strip as part of the job. You do not need to arrange disposal.
